A dog in Canada has received widespread appreciation on social media for stopping oncoming traffic from saving the life of its owner, who had fainted on the street after having a seizure while walking his dog.

On March 16, Haley Moore was on a walk-in her neighborhood in Stittsville, Ottawa, with her one-and-a-half-year-old rescue dog, Clover, when she fell and began seizing. She was taken to the hospital.

“It was only after I woke up in the ambulance that I realized I was in a state of complete confusion, exactly like what was going on. It was a very remarkable performance. The dog indeed obstructed my path,” Haley told.

As Haley described it, “she sort of pulled into the road to obstruct my pickup.”
When Haley fainted out on the side of the road, her neighbor’s surveillance camera filmed everything, leading Clover to rush over to her assistance.

An anonymous user uploaded the video, which has already gone popular on social media, on Twitter. When Haley Moore and her dog Clover were out on a stroll in an Ottawa neighborhood, Moore started to have a seizure and dropped to the ground. That’s when the dog freed herself and blocked traffic to summon her owner’s assistance. Moore claims that her rescue has saved her life!

‘It was pretty astonishing since the dog was blocking my path. “She sort of pulled into the road to obstruct my truck,” Dryden Oatway, a vehicle driver who had stopped to assist Moore, described the incident.
