The owner just got a call from Mariah saying that one of her employees had discovered a dog that had been hit by a car and that it appeared to have a pretty large gaping wound and a lot of injuries, and that it would require some pretty quick medical attention,

When you see injuries like this, one of the biggest concerns is that there may be internal damage, so we need to get him to the vet as soon as possible. I had just returned to the warehouse when I noticed Mariah, who was supposed to be on her way to the vet. I asked her why she was back here, and she replied, “I found it.”

He’s sweet and lovable, and this dog has an owner, and this owner is looking for him, and they care about him. Every time we drove past here, I started freaking out because it said Claiborne, oh wow, so he lives in this.
The Hannah Poland bridge we couldn’t find him we rode around for four or five hours that day looking for him day and night, but we couldn’t find him he was laying in the grass one of our employees just happened to see his head yeah it was very emotional for me because that was the first dog that I ever had․
So once you go get him first I was grabbing stuff right now I know he’s crying now finding the owners is a huge weight off of our shoulders but of course, puppy cried a lot because the whole family is hoping that it’s not anything too serious turnes head the other way we go line we go this will require surgical intervention.
Yeah, we’ll need to clean it up and remove some of the old dead tissue and then close it scraped up pretty bad so I think with his leg back here it’s just this abrasion that he’s been looking at because all of the bones and joints feel fine okay you start lunch at some point.
Rachel examined puffy and found him to be in good health. He is going into surgery today only to have the gash cleaned out and stitched up; there was no internal damage, broken bones, or anything like that. We can repair this today; we want to leave them here so that we can microchip him while he is under anesthesia.”
