The epitome of joy. When this schnauzer, called Casey, finally found its owner after so long, we saw just that! The dog, on the other hand, seemed to be overcome with happiness and fainted during the reunion!
Rebecca Ehalt from Pennsylvania had to leave her 9-year-old dog, Casey, behind when she relocated to Slovenia for business two years ago. To keep Casey safe and happy, Ehalt decided to give the puppy to her family.
Even though we humans are just two years old, Casey has been missing his master for fourteen years in canine years! That’s a long time to be away! As long as Ehalt eventually returned to Murrysville, Pennsylvania after two years for her parents’ scheduled wedding celebration, Casey couldn’t complain.
Casey is delighted to see Ehalt again after a long absence, but it turns out that Ehalt misses Casey much more. Ehalt’s family filmed a video of Casey’s reaction to seeing Ehalt’s tail wagging, jumping on her, and squealing with joy.
Casey, on the other hand, seems to have passed out during this joyous reunion because of the excitement.
As a precaution, Casey was brought to a veterinarian who had seen the video for a checkup, and he was found to be perfectly healthy! If we had to guess, we’d say Casey was overjoyed to see its owner again after all that time away.
Rachel Abbett, Ehalt’s sister, claimed that she had no clue how much Casey had missed her owner, but that she had no idea how much the joyous reunion would affect the dog.
