The widow, who died at the age of 95, was put to rest at an Ecuadorian cemetery. Throughout the wake, the canine remained dutiful, laying in wait by his owner’s hearse.
When the service concluded, Bummer joined the procession of relatives and friends making their way to the cemetery where she would be laid to rest. The bummer is said to have circled the funeral with a determined attitude before leaping aboard the ambulance.
The funeral home in charge of planning the service, Funeraria Santa Rosa, uploaded a video showing the dog sitting by the casket in an ambulance during the funeral procession.
