This anecdote from a week ago was shared with us by a frequent reader from Kaluga who writes to us on a regular basis. This particular lady said that, after many years of hard labor, she had finally landed a solid position with a competitive wage.
She appreciates the fact that she is not required to be at work all of the time, and she also enjoys the fact that she has an official lunch break during which she may do anything she wants.
Normally, she says, she eats in a public canteen, but on this particular day, she preferred her own home-cooked meal. As a result, she returned home.
The look on the son’s face indicated that he was really taken aback by his mother’s unexpected appearance. Unfortunately, he ended up missing two classes and bringing home an abandoned dog from the streets.
Mom instantly reprimanded her kid for his inappropriate actions. He sobbed as he stated that they had been dismissed from school earlier and that he had taken the puppy to feed it before taking it to the location where they were staying.
The mother made the decision to immediately inform her husband of the situation, but to her surprise, he expressed support for his kid and promised to keep a four-legged companion at their residence indefinitely.
It was impossible for the lady to resist the urge to stare at the dog and touch it on the head. And the dog, giddy with delight, started to lick her fingers.
Since then, the puppy has been living with them at their residence. And the youngster was eternally thankful to his parents for such a generous present…
From the moment the dog arrived at the family, the child started to make significant strides forward in his academic pursuits…
Involuntarily, the lady realized that her parents were also staunch opponents of animals in the home while she was growing up, and she felt embarrassed of her comments since she behaved with her kid in the same manner as they did with her…
Eventually, the dog started responding well to the moniker Zhuchka. According to a lady, “It’s tremendously fulfilling to think that we may have been able to achieve one of our child’s ambitions.”
