As a consequence of Uveodermatologic Syndrome, the dog has unfortunately been rendered completely blind after suffering two detached retinas, which were giving her severe migraines on a regular basis.
This is an uncommon condition that affects the eyes and skin, and may even cause the fur to become white, however, this was not a concern for the Pyrenees since they were already white.
It was ultimately necessary for her to have both of her eyes removed; nonetheless, this hasn’t prevented her from living life to the fullest, taking walks and zipping about the yard.
