@keepingupwiththekokals submitted a TikTok video in which Brody the German shepherd can be seen dropping his ball just in front of the child’s feet. Brody looks eagerly at the ball and at his little pal, as though he should hurry up and get to the game.
It doesn’t go down well with the pup when his grown-up owner intervenes to explain that the two-month-old isn’t quite ready to play fetch at this point.․․
When his owner tells him that this isn’t the first time Brody has tried to persuade the infant to play with him, he implies that this isn’t a new situation for the two of them.․․
In spite of his owner’s explanation that he is “too young!” the German shepherd continues to gaze longingly at the ball, giving her a pathetic face.
In the title of the video, it is stated that “two months old is still too young to hurl your toy,” which is correct. According to his tenacity, it doesn’t seem like Brody will be prepared to give up on teaching the newborn the art of fetch any time soon.
The sweet video has received more than six million views on TikTok, with many viewers writing comments that speculated about what may have been going through Brody’s head throughout the film.
“I don’t want any excuses from you, mum,” one individual commented. “I’m looking for results.”
“I’ve been fetching for him for two months, and he has to hurry up!” said another.
As yet another person joked: “Mom, it’s broken; please mend the baby; we’ve already spoken about it!”
A number of viewers have requested the owner to publish an updated video once the baby has reached the age when he can play catch with his canine friend.
Apparently, Brody isn’t the only dog that has had his efforts to establish new friends wasted in recent months. This golden retriever took things a step further by attempting to get a robot vacuum cleaner into playing with her as well.
