“Dog’s black death․․․”

When the six-year-old dog died of a terrible condition, she was just a puppy. Alabama rot has no recognized cause, hence there is no known treatment for it. Dog’s dark death” is the name given to a sickness that causes prolonged pain before death.․․

Now, the grieving dog owner is advising other pet owners to be on the lookout for this sickness as well.․․

After her beloved Cocker Spaniel died of an illness known as Alabama Rot, a grieving dog owner decided to educate others about the dangers of the disease.․․

After a week of vacationing on the beaches of North Wales, Rebecca Fox discovered that her Cocker Spaniel was constantly licking her paw.․․

Millie, the dog, was also limping and putting her paw up.

As a last resort, Mrs. Fox and her husband decided to purchase antiseptic spray.․․

The dog returned to being “extremely sluggish” a few days later.․․

“We went to Delamere Forest, we reside in Leicestershire, and we went to the new Forest Holiday site on May 14, which was a Friday,” the dog’s owner said.

“The majority of our time was spent in the woods.”

When we were in Wales, we made a couple of trips to the north.․․

On top of that, we did activities in Llandudno like walking around the town and checking out Colwyn Bay.”

As for Rhyl, Millie didn’t go to the beach there since she had a damaged paw at that time.

Most of our time was spent in Delamere Forest, where we were staying and exploring the area on foot.

“Everything was quite muddy since it had been a very rainy week and dreadful weather․․.

When we were in the forest, there was an abundance of water, particularly muck.․․

A week later, we were all in the log cabin together when Millie began to nervously lick her front paw.

When she started limping and carrying her leg in a sling, we assumed she had an infection.

“It hit me like a ton of bricks.․․

“We went to a neighboring Pets at Home on Saturday and bought her some antiseptic spray. ‘”

Because we didn’t want anything to get in the way, we didn’t allow her to go for a stroll.”

She was really sluggish by Sunday night, and we put it down to the fact that we had two other dogs and were away from home.”

To put it simply, “oh my god I am dying” was her default response to any health issue.

It wasn’t until the following Monday, May 24th, that we returned home and found her to be eerily silent.
