Her hopes of living a normal life would have been over if it hadn’t been for Sky Sanctuary Rescue. Ducky had been “determined to be wild and destined for extermination,” according to the rescue group. A spokesperson for the group said that “several organizations and citizens had given up on her, finding her unadoptable and wild, which they felt justified her killing.”
