In response to the situation, Control promptly activated a Bere Alston fire engine, together with an officer and a specialised rescue crew from Camels Head.

Crews arrived to find the dog dangling from a branch over a river, and started planning a rescue as soon as possible…

It took around two hours for the professional team to find out a safe manner of rescuing the dog from its trauma…

“Within two hours, workers had successfully rescued the dog,” the statement said…
