A family in India came dangerously close to being murdered in a home fire last week. Fortunately, their three-year-old dog, Bravo, warned the man and his pregnant wife to the fire by knocking on the bedroom door, which they were able to escape. Because of Bravo’s rapid efforts, everyone was able to escape the fire without injury.․․
“I was agitated by Bravo’s continual barking and hammering on our bedroom door,” Shesh Sarangdhar, 38, who owns an information technology firm, told the Hindustan Times. When I opened the door to check what was wrong, I saw that the whole home was filled with a thick cloud of smoke.․․
It was completely obscured by smoke, and I couldn’t see anything at all. I began smothering the blaze with a couple of buckets of water.
“It was a near escape for us since if Bravo had not sounded the alarm in time, the smoke would have seeped into our rooms as well, causing us pain as we slept,” says the author.․․
The smoke was coming from their downstairs kitchen, which had been damaged by a fire caused by their stove. It was subsequently revealed that Mr Sarangdhar’s wife had left the stove with a pan full of oil on before falling asleep and completely forgetting about the situation..․
Bravo had been homeless and lived on the streets in Mr Sarangdhar’s former neighborhood until he was adopted by the couple in March this year. He used to feed the street dogs, and when he and his wife decided to relocate, they took in four of them as their own.․․
In addition, Mr. Saragdhar said that when he and his family take asleep throughout the day, all four dogs enjoy napping on the terrace. When the event occurred, only Bravo was awake and present in the building.”
Bravo’s brave deeds have awed and inspired people all around the globe. “What a heartwarming occurrence,” one lady expressed her feelings.․․
“Street dogs are generally looked down upon in our society, but this emotional tale demonstrates how clever and vigilant they can be.” “This tale has touched the hearts of animal lovers everywhere.”
