One nurse from Buffalo, New York, spearheaded a $27,000 (£19,000) fundraising drive to transport Kabang to the United States to obtain the required surgery that was not accessible in the Philippines as a result of the canine’s courageous gesture, which gained tremendous acclaim across the globe.
