A former nurse has created a hospital for abandoned pets… See how…

This lady made the decision to establish a sanctuary for dogs that have been abandoned due to an old sickness or because of old age, and she is responsible for ensuring that they spend their last days in comfort.․․

Saying goodbye to our pets may surely be one of the most difficult events of one’s life, and one of the final ways to express our gratitude for their unconditional love is to remain with them till the end of their lives.

Unfortunately, many individuals end up leaving them to their destiny, regardless of how many years they have spent living together with other people in a loving environment.․․

So this retired nurse decided to establish a dog hospice, where she would ensure that dogs got the care they need in their last days on the planet.․․

In 2010, Nicola Coyle founded the “Gray Muzzle” canine hospice initiative, where she cared for dogs that had been abandoned due to their age or illness. She manages this hospice from her house in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, where she lives with her family (England).

Grey Muzzle Dog Hospice provides dogs with steaks and ice cream as part of their fundraising efforts. According to the Bored Panda, Nicola even brings them with her to other locations such as McDonald’s to spend their time together.․․

According to the former nurse in an interview with Metro:

As a result, we only take them if the veterinarian determines that they have fewer than six months to live, and we devote particular attention to end-of-life care.” “I believe the longest I’ve had is almost a year, and the shortest is approximately two weeks.”

Because Nicola Coyle does not know when the rescued dogs’ birthdays are, she ensures that everyone enjoys a birthday by taking them to the beach or treating them to a delicious meal to mark the occasion.․․

A lady spends around 600 euros per year on each dog she looks after.․․

She runs a dog shelter with the use of her own money and contributions from animal-loving individuals and organizations.

The fact that Nicola has been assisting these creatures for many months makes saying goodbye to them all the more difficult for her to bear.

The fact that we are on the verge of losing our pets should not be an excuse to leave them to their destiny; on the contrary, it should serve as an opportunity to show them even more love and devotion.․․
