Finally, a man’s five-year effort to locate a new home for a stray dog has come to fruition.
The first time Doug Sears saw Ceasar, an animal rescue worker, he quickly fell in love with him because of his poor condition.
“Something about Caesar caught my heart,” Sears said on WKBN-TV.
Ceasar may spend the rest of his life here, and if he’s going to spend the rest of his life here, he may as well enjoy it,’ he replied.
In the beginning, Ceasar was covered in sores and had a bad case of heartworm when he arrived at Animal Charity of Ohio.
Animal Charity of Ohio employee Sears spends his free time with Ceasar the needy dog in his leisure time.
The cat had been adopted for years, despite Sears’ devotion to him, but he just learned of its new owner a few months ago. While the volunteer confesses he is sad to say goodbye to the cute pup, he is equally glad that the dog has been placed in an excellent family.
Sears indicated that the time has come for him to return home and spend time with someone who really cares about him. “I’m over the moon. Really thankful I’m able to keep my composure. “I’m so happy for him,” I added.
Some of the animals at the Animal Charity of Ohio have been there for years, according to a staffer at the facility.
