What we have here is nothing short of a Mother’s Day miracle!
Immediately following the publication of the story of Queen and Freddy, a mother and son dog pair who had spent more than eight months in a shelter hoping to find a home together, the rescue organization Homeward Trails announced that the pair had found the perfect forever family just in time for Mother’s Day, just as they had wished.․․
“Freddy and Queen have been adopted by a retired Marine and his wife in Northern Virginia, and we are overjoyed to be able to share the news with you.
Having lost their Labrador after almost 13 years of marriage, the couple was seeking for an opportunity to rescue another dog or two to add to their family.”
According to an update from the rescue, which featured photos of the duo, Queen, 10, and Freddy, 4, are enjoying their new backyard.
“In their new house, Freddy and Queen are taking advantage of their beautiful yard and are getting used to their surroundings. The new parents would like to express their thanks to Homeward Trails and their outstanding network of foster care specialists for bringing Freddy and Queen into their lives and for arranging such a simple adoption process.
” It was decided to include the rescue operation. Freddy and Queen have finally found their forever home, which we are pleased to announce!”
It is essential that Queen and Freddy spend as much time together as possible in order to continue to build their love connection. Many hours will be spent sleeping and cuddling with loved ones.
