Kuzma, an old dog, found a dead puppy in a snowdrift. Rescued him and transported him to a warm spot. He took the option to do so. It wasn’t long until Kuzma was able to drag the helpless animal to a comfortable location by the scruff of the neck.
Seeing the puppy, Kuzma knew his owner was kind and would step in to save the pup. He took the animal to his room and put it in a cage after the baby was inside. The dog was shivering and unsure of how to stay warm…
A few sips of warm milk from Kuzma’s owner were all the miserable animal could manage before turning away in disgust.
The baby’s trembling soon stopped, and he was able to fall asleep. Shivering and moaning, he would wake up often, unable to sleep. Before returning to sleep, the puppy was extensively examined by an adult.
It was clear that the dog’s owner was dissatisfied with the condition of his pet’s feet. The dog was wrapped in a blanket as he was taken to the veterinarian’s office. He was examined by a veterinarian, who prescribed treatment.
Kuzma’s interest in the puppy’s barking and feeding habits waned for another seven days, but he still remained devoted to the youngster. The baby’s name was Frost.
A joyful, loving baby emerged from this little creature’s cocoon of milk and love. Because he was so curious and interested in everything, Kuzma had to continually yank him away from potentially hazardous situations.
