Vicente was all dressed up and ready to fly to his future home when his new “owners” eventually called him to cancel his adoption on the day he was supposed to be picked up and transported to his new home. Vicente was heartbroken and disappointed.
According to the Colombian authorities, the adorable dog was to be adopted by the non-profit organization Fundacion Rescatame, which has its headquarters in the city of La Calera. Just after Vicente awakened on adoption day, his rescuers shared sorrowful photographs of the adorable Vicente on their Facebook page on September 9, shortly after he had been rescued.

Despite the fact that Vicente has been adopted into a loving and forever family, there are still 40 more dogs at the shelter who are eagerly awaiting their opportunity to find them forever home. Over 200 dogs have been placed with new families this year thanks to the rescue’s assistance.
