Despite having a surprisingly long neck, this one-of-a-kind canine is distinguished by markings that give it the illusion of being a giraffe.
As a puppy, Louisa Crook saved Brodie, an Azawakh, a sighthound related to the greyhound and the whippet, from being hit by a car and then abandoned by his owner. Brodie was rescued by Louisa Crook and adopted by her family.
Unfortunately, as a consequence of the tragedy, Brodie was forced to have one of his front legs and one of his shoulders amputated. Azawakhs, sometimes known as sighthounds, is already recognized for having very long necks, but Brodie’s neck seems to be far longer as a result of the amputation.
“Brodie is the most beautiful dog I have ever seen in my life, and I am certain that I will see many more like him in the future. It just so happens that Azawakhs are among my favorite sighthounds, and they happen to be one of my favorite breeds as well.” Crook, a marketing consultant from the Middle East, shared his thoughts with SWNS on his travels and adventures. Seeing him in that state, unable to move and in severe anguish, took my breath away even then.”
However, his loving owner claims that despite the fact that he has a very long neck, it seems excessively long from certain angles since he does not have a shoulder, which causes him to look slimmer at the base of his neck. According to the report, “as a consequence, he seems to be nothing more than a big neck with legs attached, but only three at a time.”
Brodie is now entirely healed and content in his new home, where he often expresses his appreciation to Crook for everything that has happened to him.
“The bond that exists between Brodie and me is quite strong. He has always seemed to be very grateful for the new life he has gained as a consequence of his automobile accident “Crook expressed his ideas with the group.
“He is quite considerate and considerate of me. In the mornings when none of my other dogs are up, it is his favorite activity to do with me in the kitchen first thing in the morning. He has exclusive use for the whole kitchen. Besides my parents, he is the only person I know that wakes up early in the morning.”
Brodie’s owner is also grateful for the support provided by the dog.
“Brodie instilled confidence in me, and I learned not to give up so easily as a result of him. I was so close to announcing triumph for him that I was certain that he had no chance. Given how successful he was, it makes me uncomfortable to think about it now “Crook expressed his opinions with the group. Following my experiences with other canines that have entered my life, I’ve discovered that this is a really good practice.”
“Brodie is the canine partner I turn to when I need to get myself out of a bad situation. His ability to handle everything with dignity and a smile on his face, and to do it when everything was still fresh in his memory, is really commendable.” She went on to mention a few more things.
