What is the significance of the word “family”? It’s a wonderful feeling to have someone who loves you unconditionally despite your imperfections. Could you think of a better way to describe our kid Champion? He is a puppy that was saved from a dogfighting ring in his hometown.
Given his innate tendencies as an Akita, which include being a strong defender, it may seem strange that he has flourished in a home with four tiny cats for more than five years.
That overcame everything, and he not only has an unexpected direct family but also an extended family of 7,300 Facebook followers who refer to themselves as CHAMPIONS and who likewise adore and want to see him protected! ) (It is a very large family.)
“Everyone believes they have the finest dog, and they would all be correct,” stated Mark Twain, in his classic quote. Champ brings the remark to a satisfying conclusion. That is certainly true in our family, as I can attest.
My sister has been caring for my mother for a number of years, and she just had emergency surgery as a result of her condition. I had to step in at a moment’s notice and attempt to deal with an issue about which I had absolutely no idea what I was doing.
I brought Champ along with me, mostly because I couldn’t bear the thought of leaving him alone for so long. In the face of adversity, he rose to the occasion and stood by her side the whole time, guarding her and serving as her guardian.
That was a big hit with my mother! He was also completely unaware of what we were putting him into, yet he handled it like family, and we are really grateful to him.
We are overjoyed to have him as a member of our family!
