All the Doggies in Heaven Get to Have You, says Vanessa Lachey in her tribute to a senior dog that passed away…

In the wake of the loss of her family dog, Vanessa Lachey is in grief.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, the NCIS: Hawai’i actor shared the sad news that her 15-year-old dog Wookie had passed away lately.

Lachey, 41, captioned the tragic image, which included a shot of her dog playing outside, with the words:

“My Wookie is a beautiful creature. You transformed me into a mother and united us as a family. You have taught me more than you could ever be able to comprehend.”

She went on to say, “The past 15 years have been the happiest years of my life, and a large part of it is due to your support and encouragement. Mr. Wookerson, you were universally adored.

All of the canines in Heaven will now be able to enjoy you. We are in love with you and shall miss you.”

Lachey’s well-known fans expressed their profound condolences on his passing. Carrie Ann Inaba shared her thoughts, saying, “Please accept my apologies…. So much love to each and every one of you…

“He will be surrounded by so much love in Doggie heaven…,” Kerry Washington commented, while Jennifer Lopez added, “Sending you all love and sympathy.”” “Aww, I’m sorry, Vanessa,” Nikki Bella said on Instagram.

In August, the joyful dog parent commemorated National Dog Day on Instagram with a set of images of her two dogs, Wookie and Dasher, who she describes as “her best friends.”

Wookie can be seen in the background of the first photo, which shows Lachey holding her Yorkipoo, while the second photo shows a close-up of Dasher, who is also seen in the first photo.

She captioned the photos in a lighthearted manner: “Wookie’s expectations and Wookie’s “new” reality are at odds with one another. Buddy, you have our heartfelt affection! And you’ll always be our #1 son or daughter! #NationalDogDay wishes to you, #Wookie #Dasher”

During an episode of TODAY’s “My Pet Tale” in 2018, the mother of three said that Wookie is her “firstborn.”

“He’s the senior member of the group, and he’s also the most high-maintenance member of the group. He’s quite particular about what he eats. He’s the one who shouts the most. He is the one who requires the greatest care.

After all, being the eldest has its advantages and disadvantages “At the time, Lachey stated his position.

“We still get a big smile on his face every time we return home, and it’s a great thing to see and be a part of every time we do. You’re still in love with him, and he’s the finest, “She went on to say more.
