Incredible transformation of a dog that was discovered covered in Tar and stuck to a pavement… Watch the full video…

Champi was scarcely identifiable as a dog when she was discovered by the side of the road by the workers of an animal rescue organization in Solapur, India, by accident.

After being “stuck to the pavement, unable to move,” and having his coat “coated with coal tar and debris,” the dog was taken in by the staff of Animal Rahat, which is funded by the PETA group.

Using vegetable and coconut oil to make the procedure as painless as possible, they worked for four days to completely clean Champi’s skin of tar and debris.

In a video from Animal Rahat, which translates to “relief,” it says, “Champi must have been in a lot of pain, yet she remained courageous throughout it all.”

Champi, who is originally shown hardly moving and buried in debris, is seen to metamorphose into a joyful and lively dog in the video. Her skin healed over time, and she now has a complete coat of brown and white fur covering her whole body.

In her new home, she shares it with one of her rescuers and is surrounded by various animals, including other dogs and a couple of hens.

Her charming and lively nature started to show through despite the trauma, and when she was fully tar-free, one of her rescuers adopted her into his family, according to Animal Rahat, which provided the video description.

As her hair grows back, she spends her days roaming about in the fields at her new home and playing with her animal companions, who include several rescued chickens.

“Nothing will be able to keep her from enjoying her greatest life,” the video caption said.
