A social media post about a lovely puppy with a heart-shaped patch of hair resulted in the canine finding her “forever home.”
According to Fox23 News, the Broken Arrow Animal Shelter in Oklahoma released a photograph of the distinctive-looking border collie on Facebook last week, which was shared more than 27,000 times.
The dog received hundreds of answers, and one family went the additional mile to make the adorable canine a member of their household.
A family from Tulsa started waiting outside the shelter at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, 27 hours before the dog was available for adoption, according to Fox23 News. The family has been waiting outside the shelter since 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
According to the shelter’s website, all stray animals must be maintained at the facility for a minimum of five days after they arrive before they are eligible for adoption.
In addition, adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis, which explains the family’s haste to hurry to the shelter’s parking lot as quickly as possible after learning of the situation.
The next day, the Oklahoma animal sanctuary announced the wonderful news on its Facebook page.
