Trip spent nine years cramped inside a puppy factory cage, where he was forced to generate pups in an irresponsible manner.
National Mill Canine Rescue reports that the three-legged dog retained his sense of humor and kind demeanor despite having seen numerous other dogs find their way into loving homes.
The National Factory Dog Rescue recently rescued Trip and other dogs from a puppy mill in the United States of America. The canines were loaded into a rescue van and transported to one of the non-kennels profit’s in Colorado, according to the release.
At the shelter, Trip was finally able to take advantage of some of the amenities that so many other dogs take for granted every day, but which he had been denied throughout his life: attention, a comfortable, clean bed, and the ability to explore the great outdoors.
As Trip became acclimated to his new, loving environment, the rescue team focused on improving his health by removing diseased teeth, giving Trip a thorough brushing, and having the dog neutered..
Having stood by and seen numerous other puppy mill rescues find their happy homes, Trip’s chance for a permanent family come at long last. Fortunately, the energetic pup was just adopted, just in time for Halloween, and sent to his new home, where he will never again be left alone in a cage.
