The Great Dane who was once the world’s tallest dog is now the world’s oldest living great Dane as well…

Freddy is used to being the alpha male.

In 2017, according to the New York Post, a Great Dane was declared the world’s tallest living dog by Guinness World Records for standing on all four paws and reaching 3 feet and 4.75 inches in height – he is more than 7 feet tall when on his hind legs.

Freddy has now added another distinction to his resume: on May 17, when he turned eight years old, he became the world’s oldest living Great Dane dog.

A close friend, seven-year-old Erin Manley, joined Freddy and his owner Claire Stoneman at their house in Weeting, Norfolk, to celebrate his birthday.

Stoneman’s dog sister Fleur (who is just minutes younger than Freddy) also joined the celebrations.

“It was a fantastic birthday celebration for Freddy and Fleur, and they both had a fantastic time. Their favorite sweets and soft toys were lavishly distributed across the garden, which we had beautifully adorned “Caters was informed of the festivities by Stoneman.

Erin, who was accustomed to seeing Freddy virtually every day before the United Kingdom’s coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine, found the celebration to be particularly memorable.

“Erin has never known a time when she didn’t have Freddy at her side. She isn’t [fazed] by his height at all, and she has always had a strong connection with him “Erin’s father, Peter, had this to say about the couple.

Aside from spending time with Erin and his sister Fleur, Freddy’s typical day consists of consuming a lot of food… a lot of food. The big dog, who weighs around 210 pounds, is on a diet that costs his owner over $630 per month in food.

According to the New York Post, Guinness World Records has confirmed that Freddy is the world’s oldest Great Dane, and Stoneman intends to apply for the official record in the near future.
