A man of a beach town was driving to his garage when he heard sad noises – the wailing of a dog – behind him.
A dog materialized in front of his eyes, its tongue frozen to a sewage manhole, as soon as the guy discovered what was causing the noise.
On that particular day, the temperature was around 40 degrees below zero, and a four-legged companion came dangerously close to biting off his tongue in an effort to free himself.
A compassionate guy contacted his wife and requested her to bring warm water to the house for the family. As a result, he was successful in saving the dog.
Perhaps someone wanted to feed the animal, and the food was dumped right through the manhole cover.
