There is no dispute about the fact that dogs are completely dedicated and loyal to their masters and caregivers. Following in the footsteps of that remark, a tale of a devoted and intelligent dog from Kansas City, in the United States, who saved his owner’s life on social media has gone viral.
The Kansas City Police Department recounted in a Facebook post how the dog informed its owner’s neighbor to a medical issue in a timely manner, ultimately resulting in the man’s survival.
Sunday night, ICON (Impacting Crime in Our Neighborhoods) officers responded to a report in the vicinity of N. 10th and Laurel Avenue to assist the Kansas City Fire Department- KCKFD and the Kansas City Emergency Medical Services- KCKEMS.
While out on a stroll with his dog in the neighborhood, a guy started having a medical emergency. “The dog took off immediately to tell a neighboring neighbor that his owner was in distress, and the neighbors contacted 911,” the description says in part.
“The guy got immediate medical treatment and is recovering thanks to the efforts of this intelligent and devoted canine, as well as the attention of nearby neighbors who heard his cries for assistance.”
Puppies were given plenty of pats and praise, as well as a tasty dog, treats to encourage them to behave better. Apparently, ICON Officers are usually bringing goodies with them!”
Since it was uploaded online, the post has received a large number of likes and has gone popular on social media. The effort made by the dog, as well as its spontaneous reply, was not appreciated by the audience. A large number of people also wished the dog’s owner a fast recovery.
