As a grandmother, Sandi Swiridoff has assisted in the care of foster children, and that’s how little Buddy came into her life at the age of 11 months.
Sandi’s daughter, on the other hand, had to give up 2 of her other foster children but was in a lot of grief, so she chose to adopt a different baby to comfort her: a dog named Reagan. The labradoodle and Buddy became besties, and Sandi wrote a book about their adventures.
“It contains never-before-seen images showcasing their friendship from the time they first encountered until now, nearly two years later…
“Theirs is a story of a deep bond and a nice friendship, with a few surprises,” Sandi noted.
The book is intended to be a philanthropic piece for other foster children, and it contains all of Buddy and Reagan’s experiences together.
