A few days ago, a tweet depicting an accidental reunion of two dog siblings went viral. The two puppies went on a walk in the park with their guardians, but they had no idea it would develop into an endearing family reunion.
Monty and Rosie were both born last year in the same family. However, they chose different routes when they were a few weeks old since Monty was adopted by a different family.
But, because they live a few miles apart, serendipity brought them together again after nearly a year. And the instant they met would melt even the hardest heart.
The two puppies were out on a stroll when Monty noticed his sister and recognized her right away, despite the fact that they had been separated since they were puppies. While most dogs sniff each other when they meet, Rosie and Monty’s reunion quickly blossomed into a large, emotional hug.
“It was so amazing, they both just jumped up and held each other,” Rosie’s mother, Susan Killip, stated The Dodo. “It was incredible that they recognized each other after not seeing one other for ten months.”
The heartwarming scene went viral after Libby Pincher of Bishop Auckland, Uk, published a text she got from her father about the two pups’ reunion on Twitter. “So, Dave was out walking his dog when he noticed a pair approaching him with a white version of his dog,” the text continues. “It turns out they are siblings from the same litter.” But instead of just playing with other dogs, have a look at this.”
