A man was in the right location at the exact moment to save a dog who had become entangled in an electrical cord near a motorway bridge.
David Friedman was on his way to Missouri, while he noticed the dog along the I-70 overpass.
“I spotted what appeared to be a dog dangling from the side of some kind of electrical box.” “He was certainly strangled by the cable,” Fredman told Fox4 KC. “His feet were barely touching the ground, but they were there.” He was attempting to move his head left and right but couldn’t get it to move.”
Fredman instantly dialed 911 and then got a knife to liberate the dog. He spotted the dog attempting to breathe as soon as he cut the dog free. He could not really walk either, but he carried the dog to KC Pet Project after calming him down.
They learned the dog had a microchip and named him Max. Dee Vaughn, the owner, has been looking for it. Vaughan received a call within two hours after reporting his dog gone, which made him relieved, but when he learned what had happened to his 16-year-old dog, he was devastated.
It’s unknown how Max got into this situation. Was it a coincidence, or did someone try to hang Max on purpose? Vaughn claims his senior dog could not have walked the mile to where he was discovered.
He did, however, tell the news station that surveillance cameras could indicate what happened to his dog. The electrical line wrapped around Max’s neck certainly alludes to the unusual activity. Vaughn stated that he contacted police and was advised to contact animal control, which he intends to do.
But he’s just relieved that Max is safe at home thanks to Fredman. He had the opportunity to greet Fredman in person and said, “Thank you, David, very much.” You took a break from what you were doing to turn up and save my dog’s life.”
