When he observed a lonely Labrador at a gas station, he assumed the dog was lost.
However, according to the tag on his collar, Dew just likes to hang out…
The post with images of the puppy went viral and received 307 thousand likes, prompting Dew’s owners to create their own Facebook page for him.
Tyler Wilson of Kentucky was driving into a gas station when he noticed a lone Labrador retriever.
The man went up to the dog, thinking it was lost, but when he read the inscription on the dog’s medallion, he knew everything was fine with the animal.
“My name is Dew. I am not lost. I like to roam. Tell me to go home.”
Tyler tweeted this and attached photographs of Dew to it.
The tweet went viral, and both of them became Internet celebrities as a result.
“He approached me as I was pumping gas. Dew simply enjoys going on adventures.”
Dew’s owners even created a Facebook page for the dog to share his exploits.
The puppy is content on the farm and enjoys playing with the owners and his sister Lily.
The family guarantees that everything is well with the dog and that Dew wears a collar with not just witty lettering, but also a GPS sensor that follows where the Labrador is.
