Dying homeless person had only one wish about his loyal dog…

Jenine-Lacette Dshazer of Fresno, California, noticed a depressed homeless man on the street with a puppy cuddled up in his arms on a freezing December afternoon.

Jenine decided to approach them and speak gently to the men because they seemed very touching.

Clifford James Herbert is the name of the man, while Baby is the name of his dog.

Clifford James Herbert used to own a small workshop and work on a farm.

He soon found himself without a roof over his head, and he was dying of cancer, with doctors telling him he only had a few weeks left to live.

He didn’t think about himself anymore, but he was worried about his dog. His final request was linked to her.

Herbert urged Jenine to locate a new home for his beloved dog, one where she would be appreciated and able to live out her life.

According to the dying man, he rescued the dog from the man who had been beating her in front of him.

“She’s my entire life,” the man declared.

“She’s my closest friend.” She is my protector.”

Jenine has set up a GoFundMe campaign to assist Herbert and his dog in finding a place to live.

Her appeal was met with a positive response from the public.

Herbert received payment for a motel room. There were also new owners for Baby who wanted to bring the dog into their home.

Baby now has a loving home and a buddy and playmate in the form of a young girl.

Clifford James Herbert’s last wish, to provide Baby with a home and a happy life, was granted.
