A dog stood in front of his owner’s house. He appeared despondent as he waited for someone to open the door. Cupid was the name given to the dog.
Unfortunately, the family had abandoned the dog and gone away to celebrate Christmas. The dog refused to go inside the door and lay in front of the house.
One of the neighbors felt compelled to assist and contacted the Speranza Animal Rescue crew. The rescue crew persuaded the dog to accompany them.
He was transferred to an animal rescue center after much effort and hard work. He was fully fed.
The dog is taken aback and perplexed. With his new dog buddies, he even seemed to become adjusted to this life. He made a happy gesture by waving his tail.
The dog was also inspected and treated properly. We are hopeful that he will be adopted soon. He will enjoy a forever home filled with love.
