To save his pet dog from illness, the youngster surrendered his most precious thing – Pokémon cards…

Bryson Clemann took such a step after his puppy, Bruce, became ill in early May and required costly treatment. The dog has parvovirus, a potentially lethal gastrointestinal condition.

The procedure was anticipated to cost over $700 by veterinarians.

“I was quite upset because my brother and sister always played together, and I don’t have anyone.” “So I generally play with Bruce,” Bryson explained.

When he heard the tragic news, Bryson devised a strategy: he would sell his most prized possession — his Pokémon cards – for $ 5-10 each.

He began collecting them when he was four years old, but the health of his pet dog proved to be more important to him. He made posters and imagined his counter, which would resemble a lemonade stand, and then showed it to Mom after school.

According to Bryson’s mother, the photo of him sitting at a table on the side of the road with a sign that says “Pokemon for sale” was sent to her by her husband.

In the end, Bryson only sold a few of his cards, but he received much more in return — some people began contributing entire Pokémon card collections to him, while others simply stopped to donate money and items for animals.

The child earned $400 in just two days.

Following that, Bryson’s photo became viral, and donations surpassed $5500.

This sum was sufficient to cover Bruce’s treatment and rehabilitation. The leftover cash was agreed to be used to help other animals by the family. The story, however, did not end there.

The Pokémon personnel became aware of it and were unable to ignore it. As a result, Bryson received a gift containing rare cards and a thank-you letter.
