Meet Beau, a cute young pooch that knows just how to get what she wants.
Beau enjoys spending time with both dogs and people, so if she isn’t with her mother, Kayleigh Burrowes, she is most likely with a neighbor.
The neighbor dog’s name is Rocco, and the two are close buddies. “She’s always hyper and loves snuggles,” Burrowes told The Dodo. “[She’s] quite sociable with all of the neighbors’ dogs, but she has a particular place for Rocco.”
Despite their considerable size difference, they met the previous year and hit it off right away. “She met him as soon as she was permitted outside, and they clicked right away.”
Burrows was aware of the dynamic duo’s closeness, but it reached new heights when she witnessed Rocco giving Beau a back rub through the fence.
“I was sitting on my sofa one day when I peeked out the patio door and Rocco was rubbing Beaù,” Burrowes explained. “I thought I was seeing things for a little second, but they won’t go away.”
Beau enjoys a nice scratch, so she now pays Rocco a daily visit through the fence for a private message. Rocco doesn’t appear to mind either! “The massaging might go on as long as Beaù desires,” Burrowes explained. “It’s become a daily occurrence lately.”
If Burrowes hadn’t told Beau to come inside, she’s sure they’d sit there all day and night. “They’re great pals – small and big.”
