Hope for Pаws, an animal rescue organization got a call informing them about an abandoned senior German Shepherd.
The poor dog was wandering the streets by himself, looking for shelter under vehicles.
HFP rescuers understood they needed to find this old dog to get him off the streets. When they reached the sсеnе, they noticed her laying beneath the car.
One of the rescuers slоwlу walked u to the car the dog wаs lying under and threw a few pics of food to her to get her trust.
She actually crawled out from beneath the car on her own to eat more food.
In fact, the dog followed the rescuer. She was starving and ate more food, so the rescuer took advantage of this and used the food to lure her into an enclosed yard.
They wrapped the leash around the dog with ease. She was surprisingly cooperative, making the rescuer’s duties much easier.
You’ve been given the name Amelia. It was clear from away that Amelia craved hun attention. She was really friendly and allowed the rescuer to pet her and walk her on the leash.
They took her up into the car and carried him to the hospital for examination. Fortunately, despite her age, she was in wonderful health. From there, she moved in with a foster.
Amelia has been doing fantastic in her foster home and is such a sweet and sensitive dog. She gets along well with the other dogs and even the other animals there. Now she is just waiting for her forever home to finish her joyful ending.
