Meet Pretinha, a sweet dog who took in some infant opossums. Stephanie Maldonado, her human, discovered some newborn opossums who were all alone sometimes.
They had recently lost their mother and were too frail and powerless to survive. The dog trainer, who lives in Rio de Janeiro, rescued them and took them to a Wildlife Rescue center nearby.
But, sadly, they had nowhere to go, and Stephanie had no choice but to take them home. She began to care for them, despite the fact that it was a difficult chore.
The orphaned opossums were too young and frail to survive, and it was a near-impossible effort to keep them alive. Pratibha, on the other hand, hastened to assist her compassionate human.
She began to sniff and lick the young animals as soon as she encountered them, and she welcomed them as her own, becoming their adoptive mother. The compassionate dog sat next to them the entire time, keeping the poor souls warm. She treated them as though they were her own children.
Pretinha’s kindness, care, love, and comfort contributed to the little opossums’ survival and wellbeing. They were able to survive thanks to their loving adoptive mother, who delighted in carrying them on her back. They eventually become inseparable.
Little opossums now reside in a loving forever home with their beautiful mother and a compassionate human mother.
