After a horrific fall, a Great Dane hero saves the life of an 89-year-old neighbor…

I believe it is fair to suggest that dogs have “super senses.” Despite the fact that their vision and hearing are significantly greater than ours, they also have a distinct way of perceiving the world around them. And this fantastic anecdote demonstrates it.

Sadie, the Great Dane, has always been a gentle and attentive companion. That’s why Rob Jerry realized something wasn’t right after going for a walk on St. Patrick’s Day morning. When he was called, his dog just stood at the end of the driveway, refusing to move.

Dad was perplexed because this had never happened before. That’s when he heard what sounded like a grunting deer in the background. He suddenly understood it was someone yelling for aid.

Sadie was attempting to alert her owner for assistance, and it did. Jerry followed the Great Dane and came across their 89-year-old neighbor, Albert Larson, who was lying on the ground and unable to move. The old man had collapsed while on his way to retrieve the mail.

The man had shattered his hip, and who knows how long he would have remained on the ground if it hadn’t been for Sadie’s intervention. Albert is grateful to the Great Dane for saving his life.
