Citizens of Lima, Peru’s capital, were horrified after seeing a poor homeless dog lugging an empty bucket in the hope of finding some water on a sweltering day.
We know that Peru recently experienced a drought, which forced many people to leave their homes in search of water. Unfortunately, many people died as a result of the drought. If such was the case for people, imagine what it was like for homeless animals!
Unfortunately, all of Lima’s open water sources have dried up due to a lack of water. Heartbreakingly, this dog, who is about to be abandoned, decides to pick up a pail in the hopes of attracting the attention of people and obtaining some water.
Because there was some water in the bucket, the dog tries to collect as much water as he can. He’s only thinking about the future! One of the witnesses petted the dog, who also attempted to remove the bucket, but the dog simply refused to let go!
