In The Loveliest Way, A Dog Thanked A Firefighter For Saving His Life…

On Friday, November 27th, a near-tragedy ended with a truly wonderful moment when a man and his dog were saved from surging floodwaters.

The man who was swept beneath the bridge with his German Shepherd by his side summoned the McKinney Fire Department to the site.

As the waters began to rise around him in the early hours of the morning, the unidentified guy managed to call for aid using his cell phone. While waiting for aid, the man placed his dog over his shoulders and became entangled in a tree, preventing him from moving. The firefighters then used his cellphone’s GPS to track him down.

When the McKinney Fire Department came, they used their ladder and ropes to bring both the guy and the dog out of the water. Both the man and the dog were safely returned to dry land after a prolonged long-angle rescue. Without missing a beat, the dog ran up to the firefighter who had rescued him and kissed him on the cheek.

The entire heartwarming scene was captured on video, as seen in the video below. Both the man and the dog are doing well presently.
