Dogs are amazing creatures because they give us love and loyalty like no one else, but they expect nothing in return.
Despite the fact that we must respect, cherish, and defend these wonderful creatures as well as all other animals. Unfortunately, there are still a large number of abandoned dogs that wind up in shelters. And we all know that life for shelter animals is anything but easy.
As a result, when I hear of kind individuals doing everything in their ability to make those animals’ lives a little bit happier, my heart overflows with joy. It is the tale of Darius Brown, a kind-hearted child who strives to help shelter dogs find a home in such a beautiful way.
Darius was diagnosed with fine motor skills four years ago, and everything began from there. In order to get over his illness, the 8-year-old youngster began assisting his older sister in cutting materials for bow ties.
Darius instantly developed a strong interest in it. Then, following the storms of Harvey and Irma, he realized that he could use his passion to aid all of the animals afflicted.
“I watched all the destruction going on and I wanted to help, but I didn’t know how,” Darius explained to Rachael Ray. “I was following a shelter on Facebook when I observed that canines were being relocated from Texas to New York.” So I reasoned that if I donated some of my bow ties to the shelter, the dogs might be adopted sooner.”
In his perspective, if a puppy wears a bow tie, he has a better chance of being adopted. As a result, the youngster established his own charitable organization, Beaux and Paws. Darius, in practice, makes thousands of bow ties and then donates them all to animal shelters.
His exquisite work earned a lot of praise from people all throughout the country. He even received a letter of thanks from former US President Barack Obama for his efforts.
