Nothing compares to the brave firefighters when it comes to heroic efforts. We’ve seen so many spectacular videos of firefighters going through so much to save lives.
Needless to say, we’re not just talking about humans here, but also about animals. And this Romanian firefighter demonstrates why we call them heroes yet again.
Costache Mugurel and his crew were dispatched in response to an emergency call. A 51-year-old guy and his dog have been engulfed in flames. The firefighters were able to get them both out of there a few minutes later.
However, as the injured man was on his way to the hospital, the sad little dog lay on the pavement, panting. That’s when the helpful firefighter stepped in.
Costache began performing CPR on the motionless dog. He even tried the mouth-to-mouth approach after several failed tries. He continued to apply chest compressions until the puppy began to breathe again. The tenacity of the firefighter saved the animal’s life.
Fortunately, Costi Tudor, a local journalist, captured the brave act on camera. He then posted the dramatic footage to Facebook, captioning it “Nobody gets left behind.” The post quickly went viral, and it’s simple to see why.
People from all across the world applauded the firefighter’s generosity. “A true hero!” In a world where we are bombarded with terrible news on a daily basis, this is breathtaking!! God’s blessings on you and your family!” “Thank you for being a REAL human and for your compassion to innocent animals,” said another. You truly are a hero! Please accept my respects.”
