During a fire that erupted in one of the rooms of a 4-story private home in California, a dog named Sasha woke up her owner Nana Chaichanhda and attempted to bring a 7-month-old infant to safety on her own.
As per the website GoFundMe, on June 3, at 10 p.m., the dog began whining under the door to the owner’s bedroom.
The pet stormed into the room and rushed to the cot, after which she was carrying a seven-month-old girl out of the house fire by a diaper.
Nana Chaichanhda awoke, recognized what was going on, and escaped the burning building with her daughter and savior.
A few moments later, firefighters came and extinguished the four-story building.
“Thanks to Sasha, we were able to flee the burning house and summon help.” Sasha is responsible for my life and the lives of my daughter. She saved us all. “She is our heroine,” Nana Chaichanhda stated.
No one was wounded as a result of the fire, thanks to the dog’s actions.
