Between 2008 and 2014, Rescue Ink was a well-known biker gang. They carved out a niche in cruel situations that law enforcement couldn’t handle.
Why can’t law enforcement do more to shut down these establishments?
The men formed alliances with various organizations and vets, and they proved to be a great resource in some quite heinous cases.
Biker friends, ex-bodybuilders, power-lifting champions, former military troops, police detectives, and lawyers made up the group. Guys with intimidation factors and legal expertise could walk the delicate line between legality and saving as many abused and neglected animals as possible.
They were able to keep within the law, collaborate with police, and handle over 1,000 emails and up to 250 phone calls per day. From puppies and cats to horses and a boa constrictor, they’ve rescued it all.
They remain strong and dedicated to their cause despite numerous caseloads, hurdles, and downright hardships.
