When a family member joins the army, it is often a difficult time for the family because their adored one will be away from home and in danger for months at a time.
But it’s far worse for their animals, who have no notion what enlistment entails and have no clue why their owner is gone for such long periods.
So, when this soldier received a two-week injury leave, she went home and intended to surprise her 3 large, loved German Shepherds.
Her dogs had no idea when she would return after being gone for six months. Even yet, they waited for her every day. Imagine their astonishment and delight when they unexpectedly noticed her sitting on the couch, just waiting for them to come to hug her!
The 3 puppies slobber her with kisses and push each other out of the way as soon as they see her. They are each larger than their mother, and they end up burying her beneath themselves. They are, nevertheless, tremendously love-hungry! It’s almost as if they’re bickering, saying, “Back off, I got here first.” What a thrilling experience!
And, despite the fact that she will have to leave again soon, this mom is making the most of every minute she has by lavishing her three lovebugs with all the attention and affection she can.
