Lionel Vytialingam was on his way to a neighborhood market to get some groceries when he noticed a disheveled-looking tiny dog running down the street. According to Lionel, the little pooch was strolling like a “drunken sailor,” so he decided to get out of his vehicle and assist.
The dog approached him as soon as he got out of the car. He took a hard look at the beautiful pup, judging from her state that she had most likely been alone for some time.
Lionel initially thought the dog was a stray until he noticed something sticking from her collar. All wrapped up, it was a damp, soggy letter. The dog’s name was Siggy, and she was a five-year-old Goldendoodle, according to the letter.
“My master is very sorry he had to leave me here with you, but he can no longer look after me,” the note added.
Lionel decided to take the puppy home and care for her. He conveyed Siggy’s reaction to him, his automobile, and his home, photo by photo. She crawled into his car, relieved to be off the streets.
Siggy was wary and guarded when he arrived at Lionel’s house, preferring to spend an hour in the corner.
Little Siggy brightened up and smiled just one day after being rescued from the Malaysian streets. Siggy and Lionel’s rescue dog did not get along, so he placed her with his brother.
