Sometimes dogs act just like children, and Ralphie the Newfoundland demonstrates that to be true when he gives his mom, Bee, the cold shoulder.
It’s uncertain what his person did wrong, but Ralphie is not thrilled with her and is giving her the silent treatment. She keeps asking what’s wrong and if he’s furious with her, but Ralphie just turns his head away in disgust and stares the other way. He won’t even look her in the eyes for more than just a few seconds.
Finally, his mother apologizes, and Ralphie turns to face her. He looks at her with puppy dog eyes before jumping on top of her for a hug. Ralphie clearly determined to forgive her, and all it took were those two golden words!
It was all captured on camera, and Ralphie forgiving his mother has warmed hearts across the world as the humorous yet sweet event has gone viral.
Ralphie was adopted by Bee and her husband Josh because Newfoundland dogs are known for their sweet disposition. Ralphie has been the ideal dog for them because he is gentle and gets along well with their children.
Ralphie has a furry brother named The Boss, who is also a Newfoundland, in addition to his parents and 3 human siblings. They are now on a cross-country journey to visit all 50 states!
