You will not believe what this old man did to make sure his dogs were having fun!

With all of the horrible stories about animals in the news these days, I think it’s vital to remember that there are plenty of individuals who go above and beyond to care for their beloved pets. This 67-year-old dog lover is a prime example.

David Bahnson chose to share all of the wonderful things he had in life with his two pets. As a result, when the retired guy saw how effortlessly his pet dog, Susie, fit in his suitcase, he decided he wouldn’t kayak alone any longer.

So he decided to adapt his kayak in order to take his favorite dog on some exciting adventures. Of course, when David and his wife wanted to adopt another dog, they needed more room on the small yacht.

“When we got Ginger, I just dug another hole,” the father explained to Dodo. “It’s like a triple kayak, but there’s not enough room for the paddlers’ feet — but it’s excellent for a dog… Actually, they never jumped into the ocean.”

Of course, David’s four-legged buddies are completely enamored with kayaking. “They appear to enjoy it. “They’d get excited when we’d pull the kayaks out and show them where we were heading,” he explained.

“They’ve been trained to get into the kayak on their own.” “They sit down, and off we go,” David explained to The Dodo, who is relieved that the dogs might truly give him an extra…paw. “We’ve seen other people kayaking with their dogs, but they’re normally in the cockpit.” They each have their own little place, and they just sit back and enjoy the journey.”
