Life on the streets is difficult for dogs, and a homeless dog can occasionally live for years on its own before being rescued.
In Ukraine, the founder and rescuer of Love Furry Friends dog rescue have made it her aim to aid as many stray, homeless, and abused dogs as she can. Because Ukraine has harsh winters and a large number of needy canines, the rescue is continuously working to preserve lives.
When the rescuer learned about a dog residing at a gas station. Anyone stated the dog had been there for a few years and would approach people getting gas to beg for food.
The woman realized that the dog had previously had a few litters of puppies at the gas station and had survived there her entire life. She realized she couldn’t leave the pup there to struggle through the winters or have more puppies, so she decided to approach the homeless dog.
The dog was overjoyed to be noticed and happily accompanied the rescuer to the veterinarian. Despite living on the streets, the small dog, Linda, was not afraid of humans and appeared to like being among them…
Despite having fleas and tics, Linda was deemed to be in excellent health. The vet estimated her age to be around two years old.
Linda was cleaned, groomed, and feeling her best after a day at the dog spa!
The adorable puppy was taken home by the rescuer and got to sleep on a bed for the first time. She adored it! It didn’t take long for her to become used to walking on a leash and living in a house.
I’m so delighted this puppy has finally found a permanent home; thank you for taking her in. It’s a shame she was abandoned on the streets for so long…
