How far would you go if your missing puppy was discovered? For most dog owners, we would go to any length and go anywhere we had to in order to be reunited with our missing dog. Dara Prak of Texas never expected to see his pet Pit Bull, Titan, again when the dog was taken from his garden.
Only the collar was discovered, and the dog was nowhere to be seen. Titan was captured, and Dara was crushed. He instantly took to social media, visited Houston shelters, and never stopped looking. After more than three months, he says that he has given up hope of ever seeing his best friend again.
Surprisingly, a South Carolina shelter worker called Dara and inquired as to whether he was missing a dog. The dog’s microchip identified where he belonged.
Dara and his fiancée set out immediately on the 1,000-mile journey to the shelter in order to reunite with Titan. The dog is thought to have been abused based on his condition, but the story of his travels will never be known. He is likely to recover completely.
