Landis is a pit bull that spent the first two years of his life in a cage because his prior owners wouldn’t let him out.
The cage became too small for Landis as he grew over the course of two years, leading his body to become deformed and undersized as he was unable to grow normally.
Fortunately, Landis was taken to a Georgia animal hospital by a shelter. In the hopes that they might mend his hunched torso and flat feet…
Fortunately, Landis received the wonderful care he required at the shelter. And, despite the fact that he was in a shelter, he was in a beautiful paradise.
The shelter then called Second Chance Rescue for additional assistance. They agreed right away to take him to New York City.
He received hydrotherapy, physical therapy, and medical treatment to help him straighten out his body. Landis, although having had a terrible background, was pleasant and enjoyed getting attention from everybody he met.
Luckily, he was adopted by a caring family on Massachusetts’s Cape Cod. And now he may spend his time at the beach straightening his legs with the sand…
